PRIVACY STATEMENT

This is the Privacy Policy of our websites, www.workshopsphototours.com and www.dreamphotoexpeditions.com

Viajes Fotográficos – Dream Photo Expeditions maintains a data confidentiality policy that is aimed at and committed to the protection of all personal data that you may provide as a user of any of our web pages, or of our services. Therefore, we assure you the correct confidential treatment of those personal data, in compliance with the terms established in the General Regulation of Data Protection (RGPD) UE2016/679.

SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you contract any of the services that we offer on our website, as part of the process of buying and selling, and to properly attend to the tourist service requested, we collect the personal information you provide, including personal data such as name, address, telephone number, date of birth and email, among others. Similarly, we perform the same process of collecting personal data when you make an inquiry about any of our services, so that we can use them to provide an appropriate response to it.

In turn, when you browse our store, we also automatically receive the Internet Protocol address of your computer (IP), in order to provide us with information that helps us know about your browser and operating system.

In addition, when you subscribe to our Newsletter, you accept the transfer of your personal data, so that we can send you emails about our agency, our trips and other products, new destinations, offers, promotions and articles of interest related to the world of photography, as well as various marketing campaigns (email marketing) on our part.

Finally, in some cases, for the proper management of the products or services contracted, we need to transfer this data to third parties, such as (but not limited to) other agencies, suppliers or companies that collaborate in the organization of the trip, product or service contracted, as well as guides, drivers or anyone else involved in this organizational process or in the execution of the service or product purchased, or even public, judicial or government agencies, in compliance with legal precepts and regulations, or upon request.

Sometimes, there is the possibility that some of these companies, to which it is not necessary to give this information, belong to other countries with legislation that does not offer an adequate level of data protection to the level required by the Spanish Data Protection Agency. Therefore, the user expressly consents to this possible and timely transfer of your data to these third parties, with the sole purpose of managing the trips or services contracted with us, through the implicit acceptance of this clause.

All these data you provide us will be included in a file in the name of our travel agency, “Viajes Fotográficos – Dream Photo Expeditions”, or its owner, Sergio Lanza Casado, with NIF 72051292C, with the sole purpose of responding to the queries you have made, to manage the trips, products or services you have requested or contracted, or to inform you about other trips, services or products that may be of interest to you, as well as news and articles related to the world of travel and photography. Such actions may be taken using any such data, including telephone calls and messages, the WhatsApp, or email and postal mail.

The use of this data may continue even after the consultation is solved or the travel services, and / or products contracted. However, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, portability and limitation of the use of such data, by written request that you can make effective by sending an email to info@viajesfotograficos.com.

SECTION 2 – CONSENT
How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with your personal information to book a trip, request information, complete a transaction, verify your payment information, or make any type of inquiry, you acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of that data for that specific reason, as well as any of the reasons cited in the previous section.

If we ask you for your personal information for a secondary reason, such as to be part of our newsletter, we will ask you directly for your express consent, or give you the opportunity to refuse.

How can I withdraw my consent?

If you change your mind after agreeing to this, you may withdraw your consent to be contacted for the collection, use or disclosure of your information at any time by contacting us at info@viajesfotograficos.com or by writing to us at

Viajes Fotográficos – Dream Photo Expeditions
9, Alday Street, 3-C
Camargo, 39600 Cantabria
SPAIN

SECTION 3 – DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law or if you violate our Terms of Service, as well as to third parties, provided that this is necessary for the management of the contracted services, as indicated in Section 1.

SECTION 4 – PAYMENTS

In turn, our travel agency and online store allow payments by bank transfer, as well as online payments by PayPal or by debit or credit card (action operated by Stripe). They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell you our products and services.

Your data is stored through PayPal and/or Stripe data storage as well as databases on a secure server behind a firewall.

Card payments

If you choose the option of paying by debit or credit card through a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, it is possible that the company providing this payment gateway, Stripe, processes and stores your credit card data. Therefore, you give your express consent to that processing and/or storage of data by choosing that payment method, which may be regulated by Stripe’s own express terms of use and privacy policies. This data will always be encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Standard Security (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only to the extent necessary to complete the purchase transaction. After it is completed, your purchase transaction information will be deleted. We are at no time able to receive, view or store this payment data. Therefore, by contracting any of our trips using this method of payment, you expressly acknowledge our disclaimer of liability for the use of such data.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards established by PCI-DSS as outlined by the PCI Security Standards Board, which is a joint effort of brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by stores and their service providers.

Paypal

For payments made by choosing PayPal as a payment method, the customer must have or register an account with the aforementioned company, accepting its express terms of use and privacy policies. When selecting that payment method, the process continues at PayPal, so we do not witness, process, receive or store, at any time, the relevant payment data. For this reason, when you contract any of our trips, and choose PayPal as a payment method, you expressly acknowledge our exemption from liability for the use of such data.

SECTION 5 – THIRD PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to enable them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, some third party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we are required to provide them for purchase related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so that you can understand how your personal information will be handled.

In particular, please remember that some vendors may be located or have facilities that are in a different jurisdiction than you or us. Therefore, if you wish to proceed with a transaction involving the services of a third party provider, your information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction (or jurisdictions) in which the service provider or its facilities are located.

By way of example, if you are in Spain and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway based in the United States, then your personal information used to complete the transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States law.

Once you leave our store website or are redirected to a third party site or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

SECTION 6 – SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure that there is no inappropriate loss, misuse, access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of your personal information.

If you provide us with your credit card information, that information is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional industry-accepted standards.

SECTION 7 – AGE OF CONSENT

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the legal age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are of legal age in your state or province of residence and have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

SECTION 8 – CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

If our store is acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we can continue to sell products to you.
