We are an official travel agency for photography lovers. If you have any doubt, we’ll be happy to help you! You can contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp.
Our Northern Spain Photo Tour, from December 1st to 8th, 2024 (more dates available soon), is a great opportunity to photograph the beautiful landscapes of the Cantabrian Coast in our country. On this adventure, we will travel for a week photographing the most spectacular locations in Cantabria, Asturias, and the Basque Country.
During the tour, you will be accompanied by one or more of our local photographers, who live in the same area. At the same time, all the travel details are organized by our own travel agency. Therefore, you can be assured that you are in the best hands, allowing you to make the most of your trip.
As for the itinerary, we will explore what is, for many, the most beautiful area of Spain. The northern coast of the country, with its beaches, cliffs, and picturesque villages, is a true gem, as well as a dream destination for any photography enthusiast.
This Northern Spain Photo Tour is focused on landscape photography, with a special emphasis on seascapes. During the trip, we will explore the most beautiful cliffs and beaches of the Cantabrian Coast. Additionally, we will visit some of the extraordinary forests and mountain landscapes of northern Spain. And we won’t forget about the most picturesque fishing villages in the area.
Throughout the week, we will be able to photograph many of the most famous locations in Northern Spain. To begin with, we will photograph beaches such as Barrika, Arnía, Gueirúa, Playa del Silencio, or Portizuelo. We will also visit incredible cliffs like San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, Urros de Costa Quebrada, or those of the rugged Asturian coast. Finally, we will photograph wooded areas such as the surroundings of Vega de Pas or Ucieda in Cantabria, and venture into the Picos de Europa National Park, with its spectacular mountains as a backdrop. Lastly, we will take photos in the most beautiful coastal villages, such as San Vicente de la Barquera, Llanes, Lastres, or Luarca.
We run this tour at this time of year because there is barely any tourism in the area, allowing us to enjoy all the locations on our itinerary much more. Additionally, historically, it tends to be a season with good chances of experiencing beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Our Northern Spain Photo Tour along the Cantabrian Coast is suitable for everyone, regardless of fitness levels, photographic experience, or age.
On one hand, no minimum physical level is required to join the tour. Most locations will be very close to where we park, so there will only be short walks to reach the key spots.
Likewise, there is no age limit, as long as you are reasonably healthy.
On the other hand, no high level of photography skills is required, nor is previous experience necessary. Our photography guides will assist you at all times, providing personalized attention tailored to each participant’s level. This way, you’ll be able to return home with fantastic images of the destination.
Finally, no minimum photography equipment is required; any camera will be valid to make the most of and enjoy the trip. Although further down, you will find a recommended equipment section for the tour, it is merely a list of the ideal gear and not essential items. Sometimes, we have clients who join us with a compact camera or even take photos only with their smartphone, and that doesn’t stop them from enjoying the experience to the fullest.
To conclude, we offer you an unforgettable photography experience in Spain. A great opportunity to photograph some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country while improving your photography skills. If you enjoy coastal and seascape photography, this trip is highly recommended for you. Don’t miss this great opportunity and join us now, as places are very limited.

We recommend you to bring a DSLR or Mirrorless system camera with interchangeable lenses, but you can join the photo tour bringing any kind of camera, including compact ones, or even a smartphone.
A wide angle lens will be really useful to capture the beaches, cliffs and rocky formations in Northern Spain. It’s also interesting that it’s a fast lens (f/2’8 or faster), for possible night photography sessions.
An standard zoom, like a 24-70mm, or a 24-105mm, will be also a very important lens for a trip like this. With that focal length range, you will be able to capture a great variety of the scenes we’ll find.
If you already own a lens like a 70-200mm, and you don’t care about the weight or the space, we recommend you bringing it to the trip. It might be useful to capture some distant sceneries.
These kind of lenses are not really needed, but if you already have them, a lens like a 14mm 1’8 or a 20mm 1’4 would be perfect for our night photography sessions.
A tripod will be needed for our low light photography sessions, such as the sunrise, sunset and night photography ones. We recommend you bringing a really sturdy one, so it’s not easily moved by the wind.
We recommend you bringing ND filters for long exposure photography, as well as graduated ND filter for sunrises and sunsets. A polarizer filter will be very useful too, to add saturation or avoid reflections.
Bringing a remote or an intervalometer will be a great idea, because they will be very useful in low light sessions, avoiding the need to touch the camera, and therefore minimizing the risk of moved images.
