Check out our Dubai Photo Tour, with dates available for 2027, where you will be able to capture the most amazing and modern city on Earth. For 8 days, we will photograph one of the most incredible cities in existence, once a small fishing village on the Persian Gulf and today, perhaps, the most spectacular city in the world. A city with impossible buildings due to their dizzying heights, like the Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world), with futuristic design architectures like the Museum of the Future, with its culture and mosques of incredible beauty.
We will photograph the city of Dubai from all angles, at sunrise, sunset, and of course at night when the city becomes a world of color. We will visit neighborhoods such as Palm Jumeriah, Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, and Deira (one of the oldest in the city). We’ll relax at some of the city’s beaches to recharge and gather energy to handle the sunsets and night photography.
The desert will also be a must-visit on this trip, where the dunes and the sunset light will allow us to enjoy incredible photos. A visit to Abu Dhabi is also essential, where we will enter the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
The icing on the cake will be the attempt to capture the stunning fogs from the famous Shangri-La Hotel (the hotel every photographer dreams of visiting for its incredible views).
You will be accompanied at all times by one or more of our experienced photography guides, familiar with the destination and with many trips under their belt. This will ensure you return home with amazing photos from this incredible journey.
Undoubtedly, this Dubai Photo Tour focuses on urban and architectural photography. There is no better city to enjoy this type of photography, as the city’s skyline is incredible, especially at night.
Buildings such as the Burj Khalifa, the Atlantis Hotel, the Museum of the Future, Dubai Marina Skyline, mosques like the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the fountains of Dubai Mall, and the views from the height interchange in downtown Dubai will be mandatory visits on this trip.
The desert will allow us to change the “landscape” for a day and do something different.
It will be an incredible and unforgettable trip, with moments of relaxation on the city’s beaches, shopping at Dubai Mall, views from the 124th floor of Burj Khalifa, among other experiences.
We conduct this trip at this time because we will experience temperatures that are not as harsh as the rest of the year, and it’s also a great time to capture the magical fogs that sometimes envelop the beautiful skyline of Dubai. Without a doubt, this is an extraordinary opportunity for any lover of urban landscape photography, as these cities offer some of the most impressive buildings on the planet. Their skyscrapers, hotels, mosques, and other structures provide endless photographic compositions, both during the day and at night, when the fabulous lighting makes these cities look even more beautiful.
Our Dubai tour is a low-difficulty trip, suitable for everyone. It’s appropriate for all levels, both physical and photographic, as well as all ages.
Firstly, it’s suitable for all physical levels because most of the locations we’ll photograph are very close to where we park, although it’s true that there may be long walks through the city at certain times, but they will always be worth it.
Likewise, there is no age restriction as long as your health is reasonably good.
As for your photographic level, this trip is suitable for all levels. You don’t need to have advanced skills or even previous experience taking photos. This will allow you to return with an incredible collection of images from the trip.
Lastly, photographic equipment. No specific minimum equipment is required, as any camera, even a mobile phone, will allow you to take amazing photos. You will find a section of recommended equipment later, as a suggestion.
Discover the most modern metropolis in the world on our Dubai Photo Tour. For 8 days, you will explore a city of contrasts, from its history as a fishing village in the Persian Gulf to its stunning contemporary architecture. Photograph the iconic city from every angle: sunrises, sunsets, and nights full of lights and colors. You will explore neighborhoods like Palm Jumeirah, Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, and Deira, and also have the opportunity to relax on beaches, experience the desert, and visit Abu Dhabi, including the Sheikh Zayed Mosque.

We will have dinner at the The Pointe promenade, with views of the light and color shows from the fountains. There, we will enjoy a nighttime photo session with views of the famous Atlantis Hotel and the new architectural masterpiece, the Atlantis The Royal hotel.
Today we will catch the sunrise at Dubai Marina, with the silhouettes of the enormous skyscrapers as our models.
We will return for breakfast and prepare to travel to the neighboring city of Abu Dhabi, where we will spend the rest of the day photographing the Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
Today’s sunrise will be from the terrace of our hotel with views of Sheikh Zayed Rd and the Burj Khalifa. The best sunrise of all, if the fog joins us, will be from the terrace of our hotel.
After breakfast, we will head to the Museum of the Future, a futuristic engineering masterpiece whose architecture will enhance our photography experience.
After lunch, we will explore the desert area, where we will enjoy incredible lines and colors.
In the afternoon, we will return to the Dubai Marina area to catch the sunset and have dinner.
Today we will head to the Dubai Expo to visit the buildings constructed during the Expo, some with unique shapes and designs.

We recommend you to bring a DSLR or Mirrorless system camera with interchangeable lenses, but you can join the photo tour bringing any kind of camera, including compact ones, or even a smartphone.
A wide angle lens will be really useful to capture the amazing Lofoten Arctic landscapes. It’s also interesting that it’s a fast lens (f/2’8 or faster), for the Northern Lights photography sessions.
An standard zoom, like a 24-70mm, or a 24-105mm, will be very useful on this trip. With that focal length range, you will be able to capture a great variety of the scenes we’ll find.
If available, you can bring a telephoto lens such as a 70-200mm to capture closer shots of the mountains and to capture wildlife in the area.
These kind of lenses are not really essential, if you already have a fast wide angle. However, if you already have a lens like a 14mm 1.8 or a 20mm 1.4, it would be perfect for the Northern Lights sessions.
A tripod will be needed for our low light photography sessions, such as the sunrise, sunset and night photography ones. We recommend you bringing a really sturdy one, so it’s not easily moved by the wind.
We recommend you bringing ND filters for long exposure photography, as well as graduated ND filter for sunrises and sunsets. A polarizer filter will be very useful too, to add saturation or avoid reflections.
Bringing a remote or an intervalometer will be a great idea, because they will be very useful in low light sessions, avoiding the need to touch the camera, and therefore minimizing the risk of moved images.
Bringing enough extra batteries is essential for a trip like this. Given the cold temperatures, batteries will run much faster than usual. Therefore, you should bring enough batteries to avoid running out of energy.
We also recommend bringing enough memory cards so you can store all the pictures you will take during the trip, or even doing security copies. Given their low price, it’s better to carry extra cards.
Dubai is among our most accessible itineraries, making it suitable for people of all levels. It is not necessary to have a high level of physical fitness to fully enjoy this Dubai Photo Tour, as the sites we will explore are easily accessible. As a result, it is a suitable option for any fitness level.
Additionally, there are no age restrictions, as long as participants enjoy reasonably good health and physical condition.
In urban areas, we will walk from one place to another, but the routes will be simple and without difficulties, progressing at a comfortable pace. This will allow us to make the most of the numerous photographic opportunities that arise around us.
No prior photography experience is required at all to join this Dubai Photo Tour, nor do you need to be a professional photographer. All our Photo Tours are suitable for any skill level, including those who are just starting in the world of photography or those who simply want to capture images with a compact camera or even a mobile phone. Our guides and instructors provide personalized attention to each participant, offering assistance to capture the best images of the destination.
During our Dubai Photo Tour in January, you can expect pleasant temperatures with mild drops in the evenings and at dawn.
Therefore, we recommend dressing in layers and opting for comfortable clothing, such as technical apparel suitable for varying climates. It’s advisable to bring a light coat or a mid-layer jacket for the nights, as well as a jacket to protect yourself from the cool breezes in the early morning and at sunset. Upon confirming your booking, you will receive a detailed guide of recommended equipment that will provide you with more information and details on how to properly prepare for the weather conditions in January in Dubai.
In addition to considering the pleasant January temperatures in Dubai, it’s important to remember that the sun can be quite intense in this region. We recommend bringing appropriate sun protection, such as broad-spectrum sunscreen with a high SPF, UV-filter sunglasses, and a hat or cap to protect your skin and eyes from the sun’s rays. Staying hydrated is also essential, so be sure to carry a water bottle with you during our photo excursions to avoid dehydration. These precautions will allow you to fully enjoy your photographic experience in Dubai without unnecessary worries.
Our Dubai Photo Tour does not include any meals (breakfast, lunch, or dinner). This will allow us maximum flexibility during the trip, enabling us to focus our time on what matters most: photography.
Typically, we will have breakfast at our accommodations or in cafés after our sunrise sessions. We will then have some lunches and dinners as picnics, with items purchased from supermarkets (sandwiches, fruit, snacks, etc.), while at other times we will dine in restaurants or have meals at our accommodations. We will also have the opportunity to savor local cuisine, including some of the culinary delights characteristic of Dubai.
Currently, the main form of payment we handle is bank transfer. However, if necessary, we also offer other payment methods such as credit card, PayPal, or TransferWise. Please note that using these alternative payment methods may incur a small surcharge due to the high transaction fees involved. Feel free to contact us for more details and information.
During our Dubai Photo Tour, we will stay in mid-range/tourist hotels (3 stars or higher), on a room-only basis, in a shared double room with another participant in the trip, with a private bathroom.
If you are traveling with someone else, you can share the room, but if not, we will assign you a roommate, always of the same gender. In any case, there is the option to book single accommodation for an additional fee.
Anyone can join this Dubai Photo Tour, regardless of the country they live in. Although our offices are located in Santander, Spain, our trips are open to participation from anywhere in the world, so we have clients from countries all over the globe. However, Spanish will always be the language used during the trip (sometimes alongside English).
Our Dubai Photo Tour will begin at Dubai International Airport (United Arab Emirates). All participants will need to be at this meeting point on the start day of the trip, at a time we will determine, and they will need to arrive there from their place of origin. Therefore, it is not necessary to pass through Spain before the start of the trip.
After signing up for this Dubai Photo Tour, you will receive our travel guide and recommended gear to bring on the trip. This recommendation includes both clothing, accessories, and necessary items for the journey, as well as photography equipment. In short, you won’t have to worry about anything, as our experts will inform you of everything you need to bring to make the most of this trip.
One initial tip for the trip is to bring a garment or coat in bright colors, such as red, orange, light green, or yellow. This will make it easier for us to take fantastic portraits of you at some of the most incredible locations on the island!

Discover our essence and what sets us apart.
