Our Italy Photo Tour, from May the 1st to the 10th, 2022, will be a great option for any landscape photography lover. Including Tuscany and Cinque Terre, we’ll cover some of the most extraordinary locations in Italy. Furthermore, we’ll also offer an optional extension to Florence at the end of the trip.
Springtime will be at it best in Tuscany, allowing to capture the green Tuscan fields, with endless photography possibilities. At the same time, the amazing villages in the Cinque Terre will offer its best colors, with the Mediterranean seascapes offering wonderful opportunities for long exposure images.
During the trip, you’ll be guided by one or several of our professional guides. They have plenty of experience in the destinations, as well as guiding photo tours and workshops. Besides this, all the organization is done by our own travel agency for photographers. Dream Photo Expeditions has been successfully organizing photography tours from 2015, counting with more than 40 trips organized at the moment.
As we stated, this Italy photo tour will be mainly focused on landscape photography. During 9 days, we will be photographing several different kind of landscapes. From the Tuscan natural sceneries to the seascapes and the great views of the Cinque Terre villages, we’ll be covering almost all varieties of landscape photography.
We’ll begin with the amazing natural landscapes in Tuscany. Its locations offer fantastic possibilities for photography, specially at this time of the year. The area features precious panoramic views, hills, valleys, precious villas and lovely cypresses to photograph. Undoubtedly, a truly incredible area, famous all around the world, and a top destination for photography.
Then, the Cinque Terre National Park includes five picturesque villages, Riomaggiore, Manarola, Vernazza, Corniglia and Monterosso. Each one of these villages, located at the border of stunning cliffs, are extremely beautiful.
By other hand, we will be constantly trying to search for the best moments of light. Therefore, we’ll pay special attention to sunrises and sunsets, visiting the most beautiful locations at those times of the day. This way, we’ll have many chances to capture those spots under fabulous light conditions. That’s the reason why we will be waking up early each day, getting to the locations with time enough to prepare for the show. At the same time, we’ll stay in our sunset location at least until the night has come. Working like this, we will get many more chances to capture the best possible pictures.
Spring is the best season for this Italy photo tour, due to the precious colors during this season. Tuscany looks simply amazing by springtime, when the fields take that lovely greenish color. Literally, we could be taking pictures for hours at every single location. The incredible views of its valleys, hills, windy roads… all seems to be created for us, photo addicts!
Then, there are quite chances to get one of those typical foggy Tuscan mornings. In those days, the mist get to the valleys, creating an incredible atmosphere. If we were lucky to get a moment like this, we’ll make the most from it. Fantastic images will be guaranteed under such fabulous conditions!
Regarding the Cinque Terre, it is also one of the best times of the year to visit the area. These five villages, as well as the area around them, is such a crowded destination, that hosting a summer photo tour there would be almost impossible. Winter or autumn could sometimes work, but weather conditions would be the boss at those seasons. However, springtime brings the best chances to enjoy the area at its best, from a photographic point of view. At this time, it’s very likely that we even get some beautiful flowers blooming at the edges of the cliffs.
This Italy Photo Tour is suitable for all physical conditions, ages and photography levels. First of all, this will be a quite easy to do trip, with no complicated hikes or physical requirements. In Tuscany, all the photo locations are next to the roads, or by the places where we’ll be parking. In the Cinque Terre, we will use the trains to move between the villages, and then the longest ways to our locations will be five to ten minutes hikes. Given this, we can assure you that it won’t be a complicated trip at all.
Equally, there is no age limit, anyone can join the trip as long as he or she is reasonably healthy and well.
Finally, no minimum photography level is required to participate. No matter if you are a beginner or a professional, our photographers will bring you personalized attention, adjusted to your needs, in order to help you capturing the best images of Italy. And, although you’ll see a recommended gear section below, no minimum photo gear will be needed. That’s just a list of the ideal gear for a trip like this, but never a list of indispensable items. Even taking pictures with a compact camera or with your smartphone, you will be welcome to join us!
Taking into account all the previously stated, we are sure that this a fabulous opportunity to capture the most amazing images from Tuscany and the Cinque Terre.
